Embodied movement has enabled me to deal both physically and emotionally with the intensity of life. Throughout travels, trauma and living abroad, coming back to my mat has been my one constant. Tuning in and checking in with my mind-body connection has changed how I interact with the world. Yoga helps create space for me to feel my feelings without labeling them good or bad. Awareness with no judgment. I hope to share this empowerment and healing with those that practice with me.
I strive to help you embrace where you have been, where you are at now, and where you are going. What is your body asking for today, and how can you give it what it needs? Maybe that means an hour in child’s pose or maybe that means playing with arm balances. Every day, every moment, it changes so we continue to breathe, listen, and adapt. Sometimes the best way to get out of our heads is to get into our bodies.
In 2015, I completed my 200 hour teacher training with Ryan and Stephanie Besler. I also have a B.A. in Studio Art and enjoy creatively and mindfully weaving together my class structure. I aim to make my classes powerful yet therapeutic while working proper alignment, so that you leave feeling good physically and mentally.
